The goal of this rebrand was to expand Furnished Finder beyond its original focus on traveling nurses and make it valuable for any traveling professional. The challenge was to modernize the experience without losing sight of existing users, while creating a clearer, more scalable interface.
My role centered on refining the user experience: condensing the interface, establishing clear typography and character styles, and building consistent components for every interaction. I simplified navigation through user flows, sitemaps, and wireframes, while ensuring WCAG accessibility standards were met across the product.
I began by creating a sitemap to define the overall structure and ensure key user journeys—like searching for rentals and managing bookings—were intuitive and efficient. This provided clarity on navigation and gave the team a shared blueprint of how pages would connect.
From there, I sketched low-fidelity wireframes to quickly test layouts and refine the flow of information. These early explorations made it easier to spot friction points, validate ideas with stakeholders, and align on a simplified experience before moving into high-fidelity design.

By codifying these elements, the system reinforced Furnished Finder’s brand identity, streamlined handoff to developers, and ensured that future updates would remain accessible and cohesive.
The final execution applied the design system across color, typography, and photography to create a modern, cohesive look. The result was a trustworthy, accessible platform that feels polished and easy to navigate, supporting both new and returning users with confidence.
